A Successful Event with Roland Martin Unfiltered!
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This past week, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the live taping of Roland Martin Unfiltered in support of our brothers and sisters at Delta and JetBlue as they continue their fight to unionize. The event was a powerful demonstration of solidarity, unity, and the critical importance of having a collective voice in the workplace.
During the live show, unionized airline workers from United, American, and Southwest shared firsthand experiences of how being part of a union has transformed their work lives—bringing them greater economic security, improved workplace conditions, and the ability to hold corporations accountable. The discussion, led by the incomparable Roland Martin, covered key topics such as economic justice, corporate accountability, and the strength of NYC's union presence.
It was truly inspiring to hear from workers on the front lines of the airline industry and to see so many of you in the audience, standing in support of this important movement. Events like this remind us why organizing matters and why we must continue to uplift and empower our fellow workers as they fight for fair treatment and the benefits of collective bargaining.
The fight for union representation at Delta and JetBlue is far from over, and they need our continued support. Let us recommit to standing with our brothers and sisters in the airline industry as they work to achieve the respect, dignity, and fairness they deserve. Together, we can amplify their voices and help build a stronger, more equitable future for all workers.
Thank you to everyone who showed up to make this event a success. Your presence made a difference, and your commitment to justice is what makes CBTU NYC such a powerful force. You can watch the segment of the entire event below.
