Dear CBTU NYC Family,
The results of the Presidential election are now clear, and while Kamala Harris and Tim Walz were not victorious, our efforts during this election cycle remain a testament to the power of solidarity, determination, and hope.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you who volunteered your time, energy, and resources to support our efforts. Whether you made phone calls, knocked on doors, participated in Get Out the Vote initiatives, or engaged your communities in conversations about the future of our nation, your contributions were invaluable.
Though the outcome was not what we hoped for, our work is far from over. Every call made, every conversation had, and every moment spent organizing strengthened our collective voice and paved the way for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
As we look forward, let us recommit ourselves to building power within our communities and preparing for the midterm elections. Together, we will continue to fight for the values we hold dear—justice, equality, and opportunity for all.
Thank you for standing with CBTU NYC and for being part of this vital movement. Let’s channel this moment into action as we organize, strategize, and mobilize for the road ahead.
In solidarity and gratitude,
Charles Jenkins
